Five Domain Name Service Providers exposed by CNNIC

The .CN registry has published the name of five domain name service providers that have received the most complaints from consumers but have not taken effective measures to rectify their problems.

The five Domain name Service Providers are Xiamen Zhongshitong Network Service Co., Ltd.; Xiamen Liwang Network Technology Co., Ltd.; Xiamen YIxiang Technology Co., Ltd.; Xiamen Yucheng Technology Co., Ltd.; and Beijing Shiji Jialan Trade Development Co., Ltd.

According to the chinese registry these companies have not improved much after receiving CNNIC's first notice to regulate their service and are still sending intimidating emails or cheating some users.

A "Self-discipline Convention" signed by more than 40 domestic registrars

This is the second time that CNNIC has published a blacklist of registrar companies since July 24 when the Internet Address Registration Service Industry Self-discipline Convention was signed by more than 40 domestic domain name registrars.

CNNIC has now handed over the complaint materials against these five companies to the local regulatory agencies to figure out how to formulate punishments.
