Porn.fr has just been sold for 30 000 euros, making it the most expensive .FR in documented history.
"This is the highest recorded .FR sale," says Sedo, where porn.fr was traded.
Although dizzying for a .FR, this sale is still far from the heights reached by .COMs. As a direct comparison, porn.com was sold last year for $9.5 million… But it's those record prices that are driving investors to other extensions, where they feel bargains are still out there for the finding.
Expect transactions on country code domains to rise in the coming months. The current record goes to poker.de, sold for some $958,000 in 2007.
