mTLD, the .MOBI registry, has declared its 3rd premium name auction, which suffered a computer problem, void.
A new auction will be organized with mTLD announcing a tentative date of January 23rd.
The .MOBI auctions are for "premium domains". mTLD claims the first 2 auctions netted more than USD 1.6 million. The 3rd auction had names like photos.mobi and vodka.mobi on offer. But Sedo's computer systems crashed under the load and some bids weren't received.
