Their request was approved by the ICANN board during their special meeting, on January 23rd. ICANN noted that the CAC application "contains features that are beneficial and innovative for the UDRP" and advised its General Counsel John Jeffrey to start discussions with the CAC on implementing their provision of UDRP services.
