Tralliance owner TheGlobe.com is selling the .TRAVEL registry to The Registry Management Company LLC. The buyer is controlled by Michael S. Egan, who is also TheGlobe.com's CEO and controlling investor.
Quoted on the "Over The Counter Bulletin Board", generally the home of microcap companies whose stock is traded directly from investor to investor, TheGlobe.com has announced its sale of Tralliance, the .TRAVEL registry.
The buyer is "The Registry Management Company LLC", a privately held concern under the control of Michael S. Egan, who is also CEO of TheGlobe.com.
The deal is for a total consideration of $7.3 million and subject to shareholder approval, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2008.
