A single sunrise period will run from December 3, 2008 to February 2, 2009. Only holders of national trademarks applied for before May 30, 2008 and registered before December 3, 2008 are eligible. Both word and figurative marks will be accepted. The minimum registration period for sunrise names will be 3 years.
A landrush will follow from February 3, 2009 to March 23, 2009. Open to everyone with no validation, landrush names will cost more and must be registered for 3 years minimum.
On March 24, 2009, .TEL will then become available to everyone and the minimum registration period will be reduced to 1 year.
