After Cairo at the end of the year, ICANN has just announced that Mexico City will be the venue for its first international meeting of 2009.
The Paris meeting is hardly over that ICANN is already busy setting up its next international events. Cairo is scheduled for the end of the year, from November 2 to November 7, and pre-registration is already open for that meeting.
During its Paris meeting, the ICANN Board also decided to accept Mexico City's application to host the first meeting of 2009. That will take place from March 1 to March 6, 2009 and a dedicated meeting website is expected to go up soon.
