Montenegro's new Internet suffix has drawn 30,000 registrations during the initial part of its launch, the Sunrise for trademark holders and the Landrush.
.ME is off to a solid start, with 30,000 names applied for during the first two phases of its launch. From May 6 to May 20 the .ME Sunrise gave trademark holders priority. Then, from June 6 to June 26, the Landrush opened .ME to everyone, but at a premium price.
The final phase is set to start on July 17, when .ME will be opened for general launch on a first come, first served basis.
