Relaunched on September 8th and now available to professionals around the world, .PRO is already claiming some impressive registration numbers.
We asked RegistryPro's Matt Buckland how well the relaunch had gone. "We're still looking at our numbers," he answered. "But in the first 24 hours of the .PRO relaunch, we saw approximately a 21% increase in the number of total .PRO domains."
The new, more open .PRO has actually been available since July. RegistryPro had initially planned to relaunch on July 14th. The relaunch was postponed, by the registry started taking pre-registrations a few days later. "Our initial data shows that the total increase in .PRO since our July 21st pre-registration opened is approximately 65%," Buckland added.
A good start for the new .PRO.
