TELNIC has launched a beta program to allow prospective registrants to test .TEL prior to the December 3 Sunrise.
December 3, 2008 is the official .TEL launch date. But prior to the start of the Sunrise period, .TEL registry TELNIC is giving people the chance to try the new suffix through a program called "VIP.TEL".
Interested in becoming a .TEL beta tester? Send an email to vip@telnic.org and you'll get a secure link to register your test third level domain (for example mytestdomain.VIP.TEL). The resulting fully functional domain will enable you to explore .TEL's unique features.
All test domains will be deleted by the registry prior to .TEL's official launch.
